I wonder if anyone has been able to either successfully use pre-1973 Dodge/Plymouth suspension part (LCA, UCA, steering knuckle) on a post 1972 b-body. I am trying to finish my front end rebuild on a 1973 Dodge Coronet Custom and noticed lack of parts for this particular b-body. There are plenty of rebuild kits that besides bushings include steering knuckles with integrated ball joints but none that would include the post 1972 steering knuckles that do not have an integrated ball joint as an example. Similar to the LCAs and UCAs.

The "steering knuckle" if you're calling a spindle that, is not really a wear item.
All the wear parts are available...
...but the UCA bushings are not super easy to install and the procedure is basically not documented.
(It's not in the FSM, as the procedure there is to replace the UCA with the bushings pre-installed, which is no longer an option)
There is a tool that can be operated with a ratchet to press off/on the bushings, but I used a press and creatively placed "spacers" like ridgid conduit and bent 7/16" steel bar stock.
It can be done.
