Getting there. Taking a break. I got in 2nd place tonight so I’m some where around 40 now.

At 1 at 35 it did pretty good better than expected on the floor pan strip. On 2 I was welding through.

Some updates on the transmission cross member. Slowing but surely I’m having to redo welds when it’s not hot enough.

I’m going to have to redo the floor pans I guess because it has to be fortified.

Grinded some metal down but not enough to get ride of the mad max shop special. I’m putting a grill on the front going to make one after it’s driveable with co ops and yellow John Deere wheels with the green I got right now.

Won my first pool tournament last night. I’ve only played in 3 at the bar. 10 dollar buy in 8 people played got 80 dollars.

Remember, if the weld is too hot, increasing the wire feed speed can remove excess heat.

What I’ve learned is the big spool I got is so heavy that wire speed is turned up high max out and it’s still going half speed. 240v welders is best for big spools of wire and high speed. I should have used small spools for high speed.

Perhaps the spool is binding, try lubricating (dry silicon spray) where it rotates on the spindle. And possibly the wire is rubbing inside the lead, do you have a wire lubricator pad installed? And make sure the drive roller tension is adjusted strong enough.

No I don’t have a lubricator pad installed. Need more work on the right frame rail but getting there.

I’m getting there. I keep backing up painting.

The trunk is the only thing I’m not painting. I’m painting tomorrow. I’ll lap weld the frame rails to the trunk pan and the remaining weld places after me and dad get it running..
Going to sand tonight. I want to get the engine in so I’ll grind down the green in some places if I have to.
Hopefully next weekend will have the engine cranked.

We live in a capitalist economy where capitalism means it’s you can sell at any number legally-it doesn’t mean someone going to buy it.. I got to look up sometime thr top ten wildest buys.. mine would be my story with this car that includes a lawsuit with the car if it turns out the person who bought the car got had by me and mad that the government didn’t stop the build on this car-I’d put it up for 1.5 million because it includes damages to the buyer possibly…
Now seriously my number is I’m thinking because it’s not insane inside a capitalist economy not adding the lawsuit in the bundle in my words by hinting it but saying my story and this car that I worked in depression on for 500000.
Words do sell-emotions do sell when someone touched by someone-maybe out of billions it’s someone from Russia thinking we should help someone speaking communism infront of a American government that would never help him kinda guy to billions of other reasons when they know it’s a cyber code going on that america has yet to talk about it seems… what if 500000 it’s crazy but trying to build a 1970 challenger with no experience in welding no experience in mechanical work except amateur stuff someone from the cartel to Russia to just a common car guy who’s a billionaire might like it with my story…

And this stuff probably would never happen because I probably wouldn’t sell it…
If I put this car up on Russia’s ebay that is legal called avito or something look up Russia’s eBay that is legal to use in america think about it… it’s dangerous crazy but I could… I’m probably would never sell it…
