Working a driving project and the car is sitting low, front and rear. The torsion bars are adjusted way down and the rear springs are sagging. I was looking into SS springs but they need a different hanger installed in the front. I would like to avoid this.

Anyone recommend leaf springs that will boost the rearend up and work well for the ocasional track run. The car is a 67 R/T

Thanks in advance and Happy New Year IM001760.JPG

Have the rear springs rearched, maybe add a leaf also! Or air shocks ugh!

wouldnt touch a thing looks good to me. Sits just right in my opinion.

Can you say ghetto cruiser?lol get some different springs or get some coil assist shocks for a stationwagon.

How much are you looking to spend I guess would be the main basis of the subject...

If you're not planning to spend a couple to several hundred bucks then your options are pretty limited **as in air shocks or shackles...UGH!*

"Anyone recommend leaf springs that will boost the rearend up and work well for the ocasional track run. The car is a 67 R/T" This is the original question...not a budget issue...springs...oem....aftermarket.....whatever

Restack the leaves with another main with the eyes cut off will raise it and stiffen it for the track and lastly won't kill your budget to bad since the main could come from junk yard or parts car and those cars do seem to sit low

understood...there is a local place that can add sections and re curve but I'd rather get new springs

why would he slam my car ?

Its already slammed, sorry but i cant stand the mopar draggin a$$ look.Go to the parts store and order some coil over shocks for a late 60s mopar wagon. They are 2" longer then the factory ones and is a cheap fix to raise the rear.Last pair i bought was last summer at about $70.00

coil over will not do it right...and because I am looking for some new springs...anyone with some smarts would know I also are looking to change that. If you can't post anything positve, don't post.
