FINALLY. I was able to get my parts ... Just prior to COVID in March of 2020, I had shipped 20 packages from a variety of suppliers to a shipping depot across the border in Maine where I could slip over and grab them - saving money on international shipping and duty, etc. (something I've done several times before) When the border closed because of COVID I began waiting it out thinking it will re-open and I'll get them then. Trying to focus on other things I could do on the car in the meanwhile. Well, fed up with waiting, I found a solution with a local customs broker to help me get them across the border - many complications - but on Monday, I picked them all up. Just in time for the winter season to continue getting this car ready for the road. more updates to follow!

Grille restoration ... had to fix some of the tabs with liquid plastic. Although the grille was pretty rough, no broken fins or other cracks. Rusty hardware that I replaced and new emblems, along with cleanse, scrub and paint....

Looking very good, what did you use on your front turn signal housings to refinish both side, the look nice.

Thanks, I struggled with what colour to refinish them with. A silver shade didn’t seem right so I went with this one from Duplicolor. Cheers!

I installed my headliner today! First one I’ve ever done, pretty happy with the outcome. Couple wrinkles at the bottom of the rear sail panels that I can still get out with some heat and re glue at the base, as they come out with just a little pressure at the bottom.

I just read through 11 pages of your project. I have to say that you have done an awesome job. Well done. Looks like you took your time and did stuff right. That takes a lot of patience (which I don't have) and time (which I also don't always have). Was fun to read through and see it come together.

I, too, just read this whole thread. Amazing work! Curious, you used Killmat on the roof and Dynamat on the floor. Any reason for using two different products there? I’ve been debating which one to use for my project.

Looking good. Those head liners are tough. Think you can work out the wrinkles with a heat gun. It worked for me. Also put heat shield on the roof. You wont regret putting it in. Nice work keep it up.

Thanks a lot, appreciate it! it's a lot of work to bring these back and there are times where I just need to walk away and come back later...
