He had a tough time in his life,bio dad not in his life.Ex left me after finding out I was pregnant with him.He has my husband as a great step dad.I still have a photo of us hugging at graduation my mom took.Told us we were right,boot camp was brutal.Plus he met better friends.He has been a great support to me going through my breast cancer treatments too which are going good

I am proud of my son whom is 22 years old,going to sign up for 4 more years in the Marines.He will have 4 years in August and loves it.He knew that he was heading in the wrong direction in life.He asked my husband and I about it,we were in the same situation in life too and came out better.I was hanging around bad people that smoked and drank a lot.My husband was the same,we both came out better when we did our time.My son,he was hanging around kids that were doing drugs and theft.Now it's respect from him to me.I proudly wear my proud Marine mom shirt.He is on leave,told me news last night.I am going to be a first time grandmother,his fiancé Leah is pregnant with their 1st child.I am so excited about this already.

He is stationed at Washington DC,been to Iraq 3 times
