I believe there was a rumor that they were closing awhile ago probably a year or 2 ago, darn thats too bad. I went there a couple times with my biological dad along time ago, I still have one of their old business cards with a fellow named Brian on it. I see on their facebook page that they were having 40 and 50 percent off sales starting back on February. I was just over that way there yesterday, but did not go by their shop… looks like I’m gonna have to make another 15 minute roadtrip sometime. @The Rebel, @Fran Blacker, @Moms68, @koosh do you guys know anything about this?

They were the only game in town for decades. Those parts saved a lot of cars. I only dealt with a guy if I remember by the name of Roger who I thought owned the business… RIP you did a good job for the muscle car world….

They closed about a year ago. They not only sold reproduction sheetmetal, but original factory bought panels from out west. I bought 69 and 70 Charger fenders from them back in the day when rust free parts were unobtainium in New England. His wife decided it was time to call it quits.

The body guy said he was there a month or so ago, the last day the store front was open. I was there about a year ago picking up parts for my Dakota. Agree about Roger being a good guy. ABS used to go to a lot of the bigger shows back in the day.

They close the doors officially I believe it was March 1st of this year. Roger passed away quite a few years ago. His wife kept the business going with brian helping her. Brian moved on from the business years ago and runs and sells these parts in Meriden Connecticut. Roger‘s wife kept the business going all the way to the end, I’m sure she tried selling it but these days not many people getting into the aftermarket parts.

Meriden... Only place I know of there is Ivans Truck Parts. Ivan is certainly a character. This was another Mopar Yard back in the day. A time capsule on borrowed time

Ivan passed away a few years ago. I don’t think anybody else took it over.

Guess I got lucky, they were the only ones that had the correct floor pan extension’s for my W350, bought em in the beginning of march

IIRC Ivan had a daughter? that helped and/or a lady that packed and shipped and put stuff online. Never found out what platform they used. Don't think it was Craigslist or eBay. Mostly Jeep parts in the end.

Memories. Got the race car 67 Coronet patch panels from them (in person) circa 1988. The panels were not very good. LOL!

I never met the daughter but hung out a few times with the son when they were in Wallingford behind Dudleys bar..good times ...
probably around 1987ish?

Never heard of them down my way.

We had a PCA in town back in the mid 80s.
