Valentine1 Radar detector has never let me down. Alway enough advance. #%*MPH in Nevada, nowhere, open range, no other cars for one hour. Beep starts abruptly. Tribal Police sitting in his Explorer all day waiting for a 69 Coronet to go by. Absolutely would have had me. Got to 55 just by rolling off. Many other examples. Foolish to travel I-5 or anywhere else without it. $400 now saves much more later.

Now that I look closer at the ticket in the remarks section it has 85/70. So, he did clock me. I was unaware that they can hit you facing the same way as you in traffic. I found it odd that he asked for my phone number and like an idiot, I gave it to him.

This guy pulls up next to me rolls down the widow and is just staring. I look at him and asked him "what the **** do you want" He took off. The next day i told the guys what happened and they laughed and clued me in. Needless to say i never would stop there again. Deviant pervert married straight men looking for pickup sex with other males then going home to there wives. F-ing scumbags losers.

A RADAR detector is not a license to speed, but I've driven with a V1 since 1997 and never receieved a ticket. Can't say enough good about the V1, but I did trade it off for a Passport last year. So far, I really appreciate the reduced false alarms from the Passport. I do miss the arrows when I get that surprise ambush.
