I am working on the assembly of the pulleys and alternator on my 69 roadrunner build. I had purchased repro crank and water pump pulleys for the engine from 440 source. The issue I have is the water pump pulley is in contact with the water pump bolts when installed. The water pump housing is stock as is the crank balancer. The water pump is a new replacement from summit. Do I need a spacer of some sort? And if I install a spacer it would create a belt alignment with the crank pulley and alternator I'd assume. Anyone have any idea what my solution may be? Pics below

It's been my experience that the water pump usually uses a locking bolt with no washer and a smaller head than what you have on there.

Ah, that's probably it. Thanks hemirunner, I'll try to find the correct bolts.

The bolt heads are too big. You could use button head allen bolts, or use super thin head bolts.

Not if the non OEM pump has anything to do with it,but button head bolts should give you clearance.
