I currently have an 8.75 741 posi rear end dont think its a suregrip,I am pulling it apart this week what special tools do I need to pull the axle shafts and pinion yolk?

Standard hand tools will be all you need. Also, if you say you have a "posi" then you have a "sure grip". Sure grip is mopar talk and most guys will give you a ration of crap for using that 4 letter word, "posi". Anyway, have fun getting dirty.

So no matter what the posi is a suregrip!? I learn something new every day! O.k so the ole crapsman hand tools will be all I need,I only ask because the factory service bible said I needed a slide hammer and some other tools im not even sure still exist Thanx!!

What year rear you working with? The older rears have the tapered axle that requires a puller. Tell me you knew that :)

Yeah my lady likes it when im dirty now all she needs is a plum crazy cuda and she will be any thing I could ask for.
