Pushed the Dodge outside and took some pics while waiting for a flatbed. I'm sending her to my buddy's shop to start the process of getting it back on the road. I don't know how long since the last time it was started. Could be 6 months or 6 years. My brother wasn't sure when he last ran it. Overall it looks pretty good outside in the sun.

Great car, good to see it back on the road! What's the story, why was it sitting so long without running?

Edit: Found your welcome wagon thread. Great story!

WOW! That's a Dodge that looks like it's ready to kick *** and take names! I LOVE it!

Installed a new gas tank today. The original has a lot of stuff floating in it.
New carbs go on tomorrow. Pull the plugs, squirt in some oil and hand turn it a bit. I'll throw in some 110 leaded fuel and see if she's runs.
Stay tuned!

Nice car, I pulled and pushed my Plymouth once.

New carbs are on

New carbs and plumbing went on today. New fuel pump tomorrow.
I found a nice kink in the trans cooler line. A new one will be made tomorrow.

15 gallons of 110 leaded to get her going. I guess i will have to get used to 9.50 a gallon. I have a VP racing fuel station right round the corner, I could push the car there.

Almost ready

Real nice!

What's the story on the grill. Some I see are like yours, solid over the inner head light, some are slotted in that area over the light?.
