I have a 1968 charger with a 383 automatic, and am in the process of building a 440 (out of a 1977 motor home) to drop in it. I would like to add a six pack at the same time, but I have a few questions...

- Will this setup fit under the stock hood?

- Should I have any concerns about airflow?

- Do I need to swap radiators?

This is my first Mopar and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It will fit without problems only if you have a three speed wiper motor (the flat kind). And you would use the air cleaner base with the front shield. Radiator type is not relevant. Now, if you don't have a three speed wiper motor the base will still fit if you trim the rear lip but the air filter element and lid may still rub the motor.

Awesome, thank you for the response! We're calling around and trying to locate the correct setup now. This definitely gives us a little more peace of mind moving forward.
