just bought an aluminum be cool radiator for my 73 charger. when installing is it as easy as disconnecting everything and reinstalling the new one? or are there any special procedures that i should be aware of

Drain the coolant first, makes it lighter, lol!!! You know what your doing, just got to get it done.

update, be cool radiator fit like crap, and all of the hoses are different. sort of pissed, hopefully the tranny cooling lines will still reach.

When I built my engine, I bought the wrong water pump housing for my 318, and so I need to run a crappy looking flex hose to make it work. My trans hard lines reached the radiator, but I ended up running an external cooler and bypassed the radiator cooling anyway. I want to figure out how to use ALL of the trans cooling, external, plus radiator fitting.

Anyway, don't give up! I made mine work, and now it's all running nice and cool.

I bOught a champion radiator. I dig it. Good luck.

didnt necissarily give up, but did send the be cool back and ordered a griffin direct fit. hopefully this will go in as planned

Not surprised.. I got a becool years ago for someone's car, and the same... never got one again... went back to my radiator guy for a recore, rad went back in the same way it came out.

easiest way is sometimes the best. not worth all the fab that it was going to take to make everything fit properly.
