Will the retrosound leguana fit the stock hole in the dash (the knobs are adjustable and the face is 3 1/2x1/2 in)

Not sure about 66. Fit easily in my 64 Polara. The Retrosound radios are tiny with the potentiometers (knobs) on adjustable brackets to make them very adaptable.
 
Just installed a Retrosound Redondo unit in my 67 Coronet. It took a bit of figuring the best way to position the components supplied in the kit but now that its installed it looks pretty good. I used an old dash overlay to fit it up so I didnt have to booger up my good one.
