What you say about factory applied stripes is true, but when someone restores a car, should they duplicate factory mistake such as paint runs, misaligned stripes, leaking windshield gaskets, crooked bumpers & emblems, misaligned doors & trim, or take care and make the car as nice as possible?

After 49 years of owning & studying dozens of 68 Chargers, all I'm doing is to try to point out what appears to be correct regarding the placement of factory '68 Charger stripes.

There was one video of Spring Fling where it can be seen where I left the keys in the trunk lock! I was walking the swap meet for hours and nobody liked the car enough to steal it.
