I’m Just pointing out a fact too, highly doubt 2 cars had the stripe in the same spot like “oe resto” guys beg for

What you say about factory applied stripes is true, but when someone restores a car, should they duplicate factory mistake such as paint runs, misaligned stripes, leaking windshield gaskets, crooked bumpers & emblems, misaligned doors & trim, or take care and make the car as nice as possible?

After 49 years of owning & studying dozens of 68 Chargers, all I'm doing is to try to point out what appears to be correct regarding the placement of factory '68 Charger stripes.

There was one video of Spring Fling where it can be seen where I left the keys in the trunk lock! I was walking the swap meet for hours and nobody liked the car enough to steal it.

Guess what got painted today! Its not completely done being put back together yet, but I will get more pictures when its all finally buttoned up then outside in the sun. Here is a couple of before pictures and a bunch of after pictures, I’m curious to hear everyones opinions….

I like the Magnums more but sometimes I like seeing something other than the common Rallye or Magnum wheel. I grew up when dudes had slotted wheels, Cragars, Centerlines but rarely did they keep the factory wheels on their cars.

EXACTLY, thats exactly my point. Thats why magnums bor me now, they’re like bellybuttons everyone has em. I like things that are different.

For me it’s the Magnums hands down, especially with them being staggered. I have the same setup already bought to put on the ‘68 once it’s completed.
