remember all types of paddles but I hated getting the leather razor strap the most and lye soap in the mouth

remember the days in school females used rulers across your knuckles or yard sticks across your calves ,our print shop teacher would use a boat orr with holes in it and kids think today punishment is hard , right

Guy I knew in high school when he was grammar school (not my school) had a teacher who picked on him. Maybe had good reason to single him out. What he did was over the top, he'd grab him by the ear and pull by the ear to principal's office. After one of many trips he was bleeding from the ear. He got home his father saw that, went to school told the teacher he'd beat the crap out of him if touched his kid. They did a hearing test on the kid 50% hearing loss. They got a money settlement from the town but not like today.
