The United States reverse engineered the V-1 from a recovered crash and built nearly 1400 of their own. The thought was to use them against Japan but the war ended before this took place.
Called the RB JB-2, it was nearly a direct copy of the original. Although Republic was responsible for it, Willys-Overland built most of the airframes and Ford made the pulse jet engines.

That's my buddy Barry who went with me on my cross country trip this year.
Some notes about that picture:
We were really hot and in the middle of nowhere. We needed to stop and get a drink and were hoping we could find a small gas station or something to get something wet, but there seemed to be nothing anywhere - just a barren road. All of the sudden we see this bar on the side of the road - what an oasis!
