Should azaleas be blooming this time of the year?View attachment 1546988
Azaleas will bloom from early March into early October.
The next year’s blossoms usually start forming at the beginning of July, so you should always prune an azalea bush before then. If you prune azaleas after the beginning of July, you may not get any flowers on the bush next year or at least in spring . I've had them in most all my yards and now the development I live in sends someone to trim our trees and shrubs. He came by last week and I told him to pass on it or it most likely won't bloom in spring. Theresa enjoys them!!
