I made 2 similar ones for my wife. She saw some online.
I didn't make that one, I found it on the internet and liked it. I'll keep the picture for an idea for later. I use to make a little bit of everything and then, give it away. I only had so much room, so out it went. It wasn't about needing it, it was therapy or busy work for me. Years ago I'd build a bar for fun, it'd have to break down to get it out the door. A nice bar would cost thousands to build, I mean a really nice bar, 12 foot long with all the bells and whistles.

I had two in my life, a red 67, and a green 69. I looked at a few of them before I bought my Coronet, none had A/C, or were this or that, just didn't feel right. I just turned around and there was the Coronet. Had that not happen, and I ran into this, I would have bought this one and be driving a Dart. This is a sweet Dart, in my opinion.

I like making things for the little lady when I have time, she’s a patient lady. When we were dating , she was looking for a large storage/shelf thing for her living room. We went to a huge antique flea market thing and she was looking. To me it was all just old junk, all needed work, not quality stuff and not really what she wanted. I said draw me a picture of kinda what you want and I’ll see what I can do. I didn’t tell her, I bought the wood and had her come to my place. I had her help me, she was blown away and got exactly what she wanted. I also did it for my girls, until we moved here. It’s fun, going from a little picture to the look on their face when I brought it to them. The only bars I ever made were for customers, never was a drinker, so I’ve never had one.

This was given to the guy that built my Coronet by the magazine for being in the magazine, 2009.
