Knew they can climb trees but last week had one climb 40/50 feet up an sat there 10 mins. Why? Thought coming down would be a problem, nope. Always on the lookout when in the yard because they can appear anytime. See them about every week to 10 days.

My sister accidently went face to face with one in Harwinton - CT.
Hope it turned out OK, I'm sure would have made the papers if not. There's been a few attacks, one on a 7 year kid. Bear started to drag him off, grand dad got the bear to let go. We've 3 bears that come around but one comes more often. Around garbage day Monday is a time to watch out.
