A classic battle! From both sides of the border. Barry raced for Sandy Elliot Ford, from Chatham, Ontario. Their nicknames were "The Border Bandits". He was very good with a 4-speed, like Ronnie Sox.

My Gremlin always had a rattle in the back of it. One day, I took the rear driver side interior panel off to change a tail light bulb. I found an empty KFC box and Coke can behind the panel. I threw them away, and no more rattle!

That's the one. They were the AMC equivalent to Yenko Chevrolet or Grand Spaulding Dodge, selling performance. Those 1972 Randall Gremlins were high 13 second cars.

Right now, our Ontario Premier (equivalent to state governor) has passed a bill to convert bicycle lanes in Toronto back to live traffic lanes to alleviate traffic congestion. The creation of bicycle lanes had always been the responsibility of local municipalities, but now the Premier has to give them his blessing, before they can happen.
