If the battery is totally dead fire up a charger to the under hood connections to get the seat to move.Just did it on my 2014. Don't have to remove the seat. Move it full forward, and up, and the battery comes out via the back seat foot well.

no idea... it's fake though... just found a random pic. It's a daytona superbird....That’s one sad b looking Superchicken. What’s the story on it?
No auto start-stop junk on mine, so only one battery...but being a diesel, it's a BIG battery. And like you, it was a cold snap and my remote start didn't work one morning. Put a charger on it and it would only go to 3/4...so I changed it before it stranded me.P.S. i'm surprised your battery made it this long.. mines a 2018.. auto start started not starting and this morning had a slow turn over... figure since it's 8 degrees out i should change it rather than get stranded![]()
Yeah.. i had a 2014 then this 2018... there is a orange wire that goes to the aux battery, you unplug it and no more auto start/stop....No auto start-stop junk on mine, so only one battery...but being a diesel, it's a BIG battery. I had the charger on the under hood posts while I changed it (kept the + terminal away from ground), and I didn't even have to reset my radio stations. Fired right up when done.
All you need is a 10mm socket, and an extension to get the nuts off the retainer at the base. I used a magnet on a stick to pull the nuts and retainer (hold down) out. The terminals are a goofy wedge setup, you loosen a vertical nut and it loosens the terminal clamp. You don't have to mess with the 13mm cable nuts.
