You're right! I had a friend that was a stylist/designer for GM. It takes a wild imagination and a different mind set. Back then, model changes could be total car reworked, front to back, yearly. Some years a model change in the 60's or 70's would be, trading a GMC grill for a Chevy. I don't like it, but the balls to do it is what appeals to me. I've helped do some strange stuff to cars in my time.
