My buddy's had his cab off of his 6.0 three times. He's paid more for labor than I paid for my entire 7.3l truck!

Good time to check if the frame is rusting through.
 
Who would have thought that it’s easier to remove the truck cab to install a new engine.

A friend of mine had an engine problem with his Ford F-350 diesel. It was still under warranty, and he took it to his local dealership for repair. The next day, he dropped in after work to see how things were progressing with his truck. He found it just as shown in the picture, with the cab suspended above the frame. He said he threw up in his mouth just a little, and dealt the truck off shortly after.

This is at my friends shop. He said it took about an hour and it was apart.
 
When I worked CDJR service we took ram cabs off quite often. Took about an hour. It's only electrical connectors, body mounts, and steering column.
