An abandoned airport in Cypress, hasn't been used since 1974. Besides the unused building, a derelict Avro Shackleton and a Trident silently sit on the apron.

Cuidad Real International Airport in Spain hasn't been in use since 2012. At least the aircraft there are for storage and not just abandoned.

Once New Yorks' premier municipal airport, Floyd Bennett Field was deactivated in 1971.
The Navy got plenty of use out of it back in the day.
