I saw that when they first came out at Sema 2010. If I recall, there was a rust bubble that was duplicated into the mold or tooling
I wonder where that would have come from? These bodies weren't reverse engineered, they were licensed from Chrysler and they had all of the original engineering drawings to work form.

I can't say for sure. I was led to believe that from chatter at the show. That they were some how reverse engineered from an almost perfect car
