Why do car manufactures continue to offer red interiors; and especially white cars with bright red interiors?

At least it wasn't yellow!
Cars & Coffee in Savannah, Georgia this morning had one "modern" Mopar and a few older cars from Ford and GM. Otherwise, the attendees brought vintage imports, a few new imports, a couple of new C8 Corvettes, and a couple of Mustangs. No metric Challegers or Chargers showed up.

This Firebird was nice.
One old Ford truck:
Old Chevy truck, but I didn't take a closer look and I didn't hear it run.
One of the nicer looking Mustangs that showed up today.
The Studebaker wagon from a couple of months ago showed up today.
I keep forgetting that Jeep is a Mopar.

Z06 Driver was a younger guy. The engine was not stock.
Nice C8 (aren't they all?). All of the C8 drivers are older than me. I saw one guy that had to be at least 80 years old and counting. More power to him!
The owner of this British relic was in his 40's I would guesstimate.
