Atomic “Bomb” Ring from KiX (1947)​

This aerial ferry crossed the Fraser River between Boston Bar and North Bend from 1940 until 1986. It was then replaced by a bridge.

It was capable of holding one car at a time, or forty people without a car.

Just a hundred fifty feet from my driveway an hour ago. Driver says that he dropped his cell phone and looked down just as there was a slight left curve in the road. He’s ok.
