This is my new to me 1889 45 star American flag and my American pittbull
The flag is huge picture doesn't do it justice it's 16 foot by 8 foot I was told it flew in a military base

Cool old flag! But 16 X 8 foot? How high is the ceiling on your wall in that picture, the flag looks like it starts half way up.

Ceiling is 12 foot at the wall little higher a foot out there's about a 4 foot gap from the bottom of the flag to the floor .this was the only room in my house that could display this flag except the roof but I think it fits perfectly ,I actually have it curled under at the far end because I ran out of wall I told my wife I'll just keep going on the the next wall she wasn't/isn't very happy right now she said that flag is filthy and it stinks like mold .I told her that's the smell of history

I did find /buy this antique frame then had a photo shop get our wedding picture to fit so I mounted this up and gave her this it took her mind off the huge smelly American flag

By the way guys I'm looking for older american flags
Even the org join or die but must be affordable and of course real condition and size doesn't matter to much

View attachment 332866 I sold this car for $1000 dollars the way you see it the guy was so excited to get it not sure what he was smoking but he payed and it left. better then the scrap pile ,I bought it just for its rebuilt motor and trans I was going to leave the body or toss it on the side if the road on the way home
What do you all think worth saving?

The body panels, just like some of our cars, are not available and those look ok.
