My first car in 1965 paid $50.
My friend called me and said his car is broke down Can I help him.
His father gave it to him for graduation gift, his father bought it new.
It ran fine but would not move forward or reverse.
I could not find anything obvious wrong, he said do you want to buy it.
I came back later and jacked up the rear one side then the other.
Neither wheel would turn when running in gear.
It was a broken axel.
Local yard had one, they pulled it for me for $6.
I proceeded to fix it out on the highway.
Can't remember whatever happened to it.
In 1967 I bought my first Mopar 1964 SF 383 4 speed convertible have pictures but not the car.

I'm reluctant to drive my car because of that picture dances in head after a very close call in 2o15. Plus my neuropathy in my feet, in my daily driver have issues.
