A few years ago I had to do some emissions testing at Roush Labs in Livonia, MI. There is a Jack Roush Auto Museum close by. If you're into older Fords, or Fords in general, this is a Mecca type place. I'm a Mopar guy, but couldn't resist taking the tour. The one car that jumped out at me was a 1985 Ford Mustang that was Roush's answer to Ford's request for more power for the 1986 model year.




I spent way too much time trying to find the picture I took of the plaque in front of this thing, but it was "over the top".

Given the challenge of putting the Mustang at the top of the HP battle, Roush took a 5.8 liter (mostly truck) engine and gave it a turbo. The HP & torque would have made this the highest output per weight vehicle available in the US for that year. The plaque essentially said that it was too much, and was "utterly irresponsible" from an engineering perspective! I so wish I could find the picture of the plaque!!

It's possible the original intent of this thread was pictures we have personally taken.

On that point, I have PM'd with a Moderator that got annoyed with some members that B O M B the site with a load of worthless pictures that anyone with internet access could just search and find. I've IGNOREd some members that have done that.

So, here's one in portrait instead of landscape for @Kern Dog viewing enjoyment.
