First snowfall on the season. Probably our fault as we decorated the front yard for Christmas yesterday. Our town won an award last year from Coca Cola as Canada's kindest community for our Jarvis Light up festivities. Coke is coming next weekend to make a big presentation, so they have asked people to decorate early.

The longest recorded fast in human history was undertaken by Angus Barbieri, a Scottish man, between 1965 and 1966. He fasted for a total of 382 days, consuming only water, tea, coffee, and vitamins. During this time, he lost approximately 276 pounds (125 kilograms) to reach his target weight of 180 pounds.

Barbieri's fast was closely monitored by medical professionals and he experienced no major health complications. His case remains the longest documented fast in human history.
