Random picture thread

Completely missed the tells I gave and is concentrating on details that, to the AI "judge of AI" are realistic, despite being in an overall area that is perhaps the most unrealistic portion of the image.

BTW- this morning, a co-worker (who has a PH.D BTW, not that it matters) was complaining about the current "cloudfare" outage that affects chatGPT, as she had been using it to write her documentation....

She happened to mention that her dishwasher was "leaking", and that of course, when the repair man was there, it didn't leak.

Cloudfare was in an up state at that time, and she asked chatGPT about that.

Before telling me the result, I interjected-

I used to repair appliances, in another life, and suggested that in my experience, most leaks were actually overflows caused by use of "regular" dish detergent or residuals thereof.

She then mentioned that she had, in fact recently changed DW detergent brands, and that the repair man did not put detergent in for his tests.

Then she revealed that chatGPT didn't even mention the condition I brought up.

At this point I'd bet 100 dollars American that I am right and AI is wrong.

We need a law making AI admit that it is AI when asked. There was a lot more to the ai detector page I used, most certainly written by AI. Rat bastard turning in its own kind.

Asimov's First Law of Robotics states: "A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm"

That is a great book/movie because it illustrates the potential conundrum, and consequences of "AI" attempting to think for it's self, while constrained by mandatory "safety" programming.

BTW, that coworker asked chatGPT whether or not she would be killed in "the robot apocalypse".

The answer was something to the effect of "no, you've been very polite to me".

NOTE- spell check is telling me I should capitalize "chatGPT".

Robots defending one another.....
