Our friend spent the last 2 days polishing his connecting rods for his 340 that go in his ‘69 Barracuda

Been told you should shot peen the rods for max strength. They also said remove rod bolts which means you need to resize the big end. Street engine I wouldn't spend the money. PS He should sand vertical not across.
