I don't care if it rains or freezes,
As long as I've got my plastic Jesus,
Glued to the dashboard of my car.
Sittin' there all pink and pleasant,
Glows in the dark he's phosphorescent,
He keeps me safe when I travel far.
I actually found that on a store shelf. Mine doesn’t glow in the dark. I believe He protects me, I ain’t gotten in an accident yet or anything. Thats who I believe in and I’m proud of it

Way back in 1972, you could buy a V8 304 Gremlin for under $2,200.

But for another $800, Randall AMC in Arizona would sell you a dealer modified 401-XR Gremlin, for $2,995.

The light weight car could run high 13s as is. But Randal also offered upgrades, such as a cam, headers and highrise aluminum intake. Car & Driver tested one with all the options in the spring of 1972 and managed a 12.22 quarter mile.
