Picking up the 69 Vette from the paint shop and taking it home in time for the car show 01242025

This is pretty much the end of the 69 Corvette body and paint story. There are a few minor things to address, but nothing major. This story started back in March 2024. I had spoken with Shannon Schierer of Schierer's Customs about painting my 1969 Corvette around July 2023. He told me that he had some other projects to finish and we could talk again after the 1st of 2024. We got back in touch in January and Shannon told me to plan on sometime in March. He also told me that I could start stripping the car down, but to bag and tag everything. So I did that while waiting for my turn in March. March came and Shannon gave me a call to bring the Vette out in mid March, so that is what I did. The short story is that just aa couple of months later in June, Shannon had a terrible water-skiing accident that tore his pelvis apart. Thank God there was an observant female ranger that checked on him once they got him to shore and realized he was bleeding internally and called for a helicopter to come and get him and fly him to Tucson where he underwent emergency surgery. Thankfully, he survived the surgery where quite a bit of hardware was installed to hold his pelvis together. His first 30 days were spent confined to a wheelchair. Amazingly, he was able to get up and walk shortly after that, and started physical therapy. Just another 30 days or so later, he was allowed to return to his work under light duty rules. Just a couple of weeks later, he was able to get back to work pretty much as he did before the accident ...... Unbelievable, right? Anyhow, Shannon got my car finished, and this video shows my neighbor Glenn taking me out to pick up the Vette and take it home so I could have it the next morning for the 30th Annual Sahuarita Classics Car Show put on by our local all makes and models car club, the Santa Cruz Valley Car Nuts (of which I am a member). The car show video will be next! I hope you enjoy this one and the next video!!!

Lots of coyote video plus some amazing coyote vocalization Green Valley AZ 02012025

In this video, all the coyote look healthy. In the past, I have seen some that looked to be suffering with mange, and I have seen one missing one of it's feet, but looked otherwise healthy. Some people think coyote are bad, but I don't think any of the wildlife are bad, they are al just trying to live another day. We have the luxury of going to the grocery store or to a hospital if we need to. The wildlife have none of that, and it is a tough life out there. I hope you enjoy seeing and hearing all the coyote!!!

Quite often around here, the sound of a siren from a fire truck in the area sets off all the coyotes living in the field across from me.
