Placing a 1340 pound Grand Canyon Onyx boulder at my house in Green Valley AZ 03092025

I really liked this rock when it first came in to Green Valley Decorative Rock. It is a Grand Canyon Onyx boulder, and I showed it to several people, and they all really liked it, but it was too big for them or their landscaper to handle, so it never sold. I decided to ask the boss if he would let me use the loader to take it to my house if I bought it, and he said "yes". So I told my friend and neighbor Heinz about it and he came over to help me prepare a spot for it on Saturday afternoon. This morning, Sunday 3/9/2025, I brought the boulder home with the loader at about 7:45 am. By 8:30 am, I had the loader secured back in the GVDR yard. Many thanks to Mike for letting me use the loader, Heinz for helping me prep the location and directing the placement of the boulder, and another neighbor Glenn for helping me out by shooting some of the video. Fortunately, the boulder went in to place on the first try, so whether we were really good or we were lucky or some of both, we will take it!!! I hope you enjoy watching the video!!!
