Finishing up and working out the bugs....have a few rattles and clunks (from under the car) that need to be chased down...really noticeable on a rougher road. Any similar experiences and solutions... comments would be appreciated. Alignment scheduled for next week.

There's to many possibilities, start by just going over all of the bolts to be sure they're all tight and really look the exhaust over. Are the shocks new, did you rebuild the suspension? Worn bushings, ball joints and tie rod ends will all cause rattles and clunks.

Car looks great!

As for rattles and clunks, grab the exhaust and shake it to see if it's making contact with anything.
Also, make sure all suspension parts are torqued. Strut rods tight on lower control arm, shock bolts tight, etc.

Who cares about the rattles/clunks.....With a flipping car that looks like that!

Beautiful ride.....

Rattles and clunks....just as 747 said can be a slew of choices.....time to inspect the drive(not drain lol) train and suspension....

Will up date after alignment ....good points all especially strut rods. All new bushings and shocks, exhaust a possibility. Thanks for the complements.

Beautiful car !! Don't know what all you may have done so far, but new rear springs, shocks, new torsion bars and front end rebuild will make a world of difference.

Upper shock bolts and exhaust come to mind. Do you have subframe connectors? They really give a more rigid modern feel on washboard streets. Nice ride.

I agree, it could be the drain train, or muffler bearings, low on blinker fluid? Turn the radio up louder...

That's a Sweet Looking '64 love the color and wheel combo
Lol, that’s why we bought the radio option!!! Great lookin’ car!

Hey 64sf thought about your problem with your ride. So I think the thing to do is bring it to me and I will have it figured out in maybe a year or so. Lol just want to agree with everyone sweet ride.

My 64 does the same thing. Irritating, to say the least. Front end completely rebuilt, everything tight...couldn't be the lousy concrete roads we have around here.

And, had alignment done on mine, too. Still not right.

To get real about it I have to agree with these guys just go around and tighten up everything again. Things have settled so could just need a couple more turns.

Drive a Tri-five Chevy for a while, Then go back to your unibody mopar. You will be impressed how quiet it is.

Awesome car ! It's all part of the old car experience lol. Hard to tell what your issue is. I had similar problems to the point I didn't want to drive it. Checked exhaust 10 times then one day pulling myself around under the car I happen to grab a hold of the carrier, the damn pinion snubber plate wasn't even bolted tight. I was just happy it didn't fall off. All good now.

Tightened up the strut rods today. Made a difference....alignment on Tuesday.

I'm with moparnation. I would "shi$$y shi$$y bang bang that thing till it broke. Lol just kidding. Great looking car. You'll find it don't get frustrated.
