RB HEADS

I'm thinking the power band is going to be more related to the camshaft design and the engine stroke. (I'm editing because I got to thinking better.) Let's add cylinder heads to the equation. You are looking for a 4,500 rpm power band! 2,500-7,000? Going to take a good cam for down low and a lot of cylinder head to keep going. That is why I'm thinking MaxWedge type head.

Here is that corner of the 240 head, I don't have a picture of the 270. I had no clearance problems with a FireCore50 distributor.........

Them are some sweet looking heads. Considering the MW heads myself. I currently have a 30 over 440 with 11-1 CR, 1967 close chamber iron heads. The biggest purple shaft offered for 440, .509 .292. Over 500 hp on the dyno with steady torque from 2500-6500. Looking for a little more and hoping the heads will do the trick. Currently have a single plane Edelbrock with a 750 DP. Willing to change intake if necessary. Any suggestions?

Here is a picture of my 526" RB with the 270's and an MSD distributor. It fits just fine.
