I am planning a cam swap for my 400 in my Belvedere. Can I re use the valley pan/intake gasket that I currently have on it? The engine only has about 250 miles on it since it was apart, and I hate to order another one if this one can still be used.

ive used them a few times over. just be careful not to bend it and use a little permatex around the water jackets

they crush to seal.will normally work good with an iron intake, but you could have some leakage with an aluminum one.they also make paper backing gaskets for that reason.

I have reused those up to 6-7 times! I use a thin layer of sealer (Permatex brush in can stuff) and no problems on aluminum or iron intakes. You are likely not going to get any paper gaskets in there so just use the sealer.
