Rear end question

anyone know if a dana 44 from like a grand wagoneer will fit under a 72 charger. i know the 44 is a decent axle from when i use to go off-roading. been trying to find an 8 3/4 but they seem to be non exsistant in the northeast PA area

i drove a total of 16 hrs to get my charger so 10 total isnt bad but winter sucks lol and i like to hibernate. + my bros truck isnt gas friendly when it comes to long hauls like that. 05 frontier lifted 8 1/2 inches with 33" nitto mud grapplers = 0 mpg lol

Could be an A-body, C-body or truck rear end, or from a B-body with different spring perch/flange-to-flange dimensions. If a B-body piece, I agree that the price is right for a complet axle with sure-grip.

Price is right and will save you alot of time making the dana 44 work..Brakelines,e brakes,then what is the bolt pattern..I don,t think they are the same...Are you gonna run two different types of rims...Think about it man...**** guys are selling just the complete third members with the sure grip on ebay for over 1000.00!!!Just make sure it,s for a b body ...

You may get it cheaper if you show up. Wait until the weather is better? I have 3 of them and they are not selling and it doesn't snow here! Things have really slowed down and usually do this time of year and usually doesn't pick back up until after April 15th!
