Helo all. I recently purchased a 67 4dr Coronet as a parts car for my 68 Coronet Wagon. Someone put alot of work into this car before i got it for parts. See attached pics. My question is if anybody can identify the manufacturer of the rear aftermarket sway bar that was half way installed on the car? Thank in advance.

Not sure, but that's the ultimate huderite van in the back! Should buy that too lol.

The rear bar is a Helwig, designed for pickup trucks originally.
That front suspension looks like one of those horrible Magnum Force units, an engineering shitpile if ever there were one.

OR a Summit Racing brand, done by Hellwig IIRC, for less $$$

The lettering of the name H E L W I G are on the bar.

This design has a huge arch in it to clear Dana 60s, 70s and other HD truck 3rd members. They were sometimes mounted above the axle on 4WDs and below the axle on 2WDs.
The bar in the white Charger has different bends to it.

You are correct KD the bar posted by the OP is curved to fit a Chrysler 8 3/4 rear axle!

The first rear bar I had on the rear of my red car was from a 3/4 ton Ford truck in a junkyard.
I don't know all the dynamics of sway bar science but the basics are that the diameter matters a LOT. Also important is how wide it is between mounting points and the length of the lever arms between the axle and the end links to the frame.
