Rear View Mirror

The rear view mirror on my 1970 RR is loose, so I'm looking to tighten it up. I removed the 3 screws on the housing, but I cant seem to get the housing to come off. Are there any tricks?

Yes sir. I tried to pry it off with a flathead but it was so tight I got nervous I would ruin something.

Yeah, I have had them off of a couple of my cars for the same reason, but maybe something is different with your '70.

Are you referring to the plate the covers the ball? Or the mounting housing?

#1, can not remove the rear view mirror from the roof.

Try cleaning the windshield. Hit your head on it enough, should break loose
