Newb here...... I have a 66 Coronet post car. Going for the 60's super stock or a "Day 2" look. I have 15x7 and 15x5.5 seel wheels with poverty caps. the rears have 275/60 radials on them and fit great. But I want to run my Cragars and/or my Keystones. I have the skinny fronts in both. I have 15x7 Keystones on the back now with P235/75 radials and the barely rub on outside but not on the lip. I have 15x8 Cragars with 275/60's and they are not even close to fitting. What the hell did these guys run on these cars back then? I plan on running a tall bias front runner like the firestone 6.70 and maybe some sort of coker cheater slick or maybe the new hoosier SEGA spec slick. Thanks for any input!

I run 15x8 wheels with 275/60/15 with a 5 inch backspace. Super stock leaf springs, wheelwell lip was rolled. Fits great with no rubbing

Where did you find a 15x8 cragar with 5" backspace? Ive never seen anything in 15x8 other than 4 1/4 backspace. And nice car by the way!

Back in the day on an unaltered car the H60 x 14 Was a common size. But most also ran air shocks or arched springs. Even then certain corners or extra people in the car caused a rub.
