Rear window defogger

G'day all. I'm searching for a rear window defogger motor for my '70 GTX, part number 3441 526. Also the mounting plate if you have it. Cheers.

Just curious did your car come with the rear defogger?
Personally I have never seen one in a GTX.

Hi 440. I am only assuming that it did. I have the switch on the dash and the wiring going down to the back. However a lot of gear was missing when I purchased this car. I contacted Roger who runs the "GTX registry" website and he has the defogger in two of his cars. That's where I got the part numbers from. I didn't have a build sheet with the car so I've just been going on old wiring and such from when I pulled everything apart.

Hi Tallhair. I have got the fender tag but it is a Lynch Rd tag. It doesn't have anything on it regarding the defogger, but I've heard that Lynch Rd didn't always put accessories on the tags.

I have two complete defroggers .One in a 66 Chrysler , the other on a shelf. They don't have that part number.

My 68 GTX has rear defogger original yes have broadcast sheet, and I have another that is out of a 70 GTX with 99% security, the guy I bought the 68 from had scrapped that 70 GTX late seventies and all remaining parts was included in my deal.
Edit Only parts that need bodywork is on fendertag the other ones you need a broadcastsheet for to find.
