Moving shifter to the floor, anyone have good/bad time switching with particular brands or getting correct brackets etc. - customer service ? I want tilt column, probably no key but searching for the best route if anyone has been down this path ? Thx Dan

Thx, I'll look into those or call and see what they have for my '65 - nice mounting bracket, don't remember that , they must've changed since last I looked around
Seems a lot of people put them in their cars. Mostly custom cars

I'm not particularly worried about looking original, I don't want it butchered into the car - or people having issues with the mechanics of functioning, columns aren't really too much of a visual part of a car other than if you want chrome I guess ? They are 1 of the bigger AF ones available, I would guess they are built well, but thought I would ask - Thx Dan

Flaming River is local to me and I've talked to them but after market columns are expensive. At least 1K.

Off the top of my head, I would say a swap meet C body tilt column from the late 60's should be easy to adapt. I'm reassembling my 68 cuda column right now and I have to believe a B or C column would be very similar.

Definitely not cheap, unless it's one of the no-name aftermarket columns ! I actually had a New Yorker tilt/telescopic from a car i parted out & a buddy was helping out and - well, it went to the scrap pile and was gone before I knew about it - I'm not in a hurry, was hoping for feedback on what people used ? and good or bad results along the way ? Possible I might be building a wheelchair ♿️ if I don't start feeling better soon , I'll switch to a scooter and use the column on that / I'm surprised I haven't heard much either way ! I don't want to put something in there with parts that start going bad after the 1st yr or 2 - in general forums guys mostly mentioned parts being lose or tilt not locking in place very good ! We'll see what pops up here and I'll dive in one way or another - I appreciate your info Thx Dan
