reflective paint for tail lite housing

Like red72, I cleaned mine up, and used a flat aluminum shade of color. I was happy with the results...

We always used what we called Mexican Chrome.
Rattle can "Chrome" paint.

Looking good.
The problem with that stuff is that it takes a while longer to cure over normal rattle can paint. Let it cure for a day or two.

Your tail light housings look great. How did you deal with the pitting in the metal?

Repop bezels and lenses. Too expensive to rework and replace the original pot metal.

That's pretty much what I used, except it was polished aluminum tape, but I've always wondered if it would be brighter by using crinkled aluminum foil to create many reflective facets. Might try that one day if I get bored.
