a question, if a fuel (elecrtic) puts out 18lbs pressure and goes to regulator to feed two fours, why would some use a by pass reg and some use dead head, how does dead head dispose of extra fuel.

Dead head doesn't dispose of extra fuel. What it does do is loads up the pump and makes it run hot. This also helps to heat up the fuel. Using a bypass system lets the pump run more freely and helps keep the fuel cooler by routing the excess back to the tank.
