Replacement battery

Has anybody search for a replacement battery that will fit in the thermo guard case? The posts must still fit and not require any cutting up of the guard.

I tried but ended up getting an Interstate. It's a little small (size) but gets the job done

Go to Wal-Mart with your thermo guard, and see which battery fits. Just make sure you get the pos and neg posts on the correct side.

I actually found a chart that has the nominal sizes on it. It was on Jeg's web site.

Just have to get some possibilities and then verify they fit.

I bought a repo battery (with new tech, old look) out of Cincy Ohio, can't recall who it was, but if you really want to know, let me know. It was a group 27 also, correct for our cars (and thermoguard).

I bought a group size 27. It's tight in the thermoguard but fits.
