Anyone here ever replace the front to rear steel fuel line on an early B-body without
a lift? Is it doable? I'm guessing the hardest part of installation is where it crosses from
the inner rocker to the inside of the frame. Thanks for any input.

Did my '62 on jack stands. You're right on the hardest part being sneaking it from the rocker and over the frame. IIRC that's where I started first. Then let it bow in the middle and go after the rear portion. Then you can push up the middle area and see what adjustments/bending you need to make.

If you can save your old one and lay it next to the new one, it helps with tweaking the bends to match. Makes things easier because the aftermarket won't be exact or if you're making your own line this would definitely help. Good luck!

Thanks "Kid". Good to know someone has been successful in doing this.
Best. RR

I 've done it on my 64 Dodge, no big problems pretty easy. I had to replace my frame clips went from 5/16 to 3/8 line. Don't forget the grounding clip that goes from fuel sender to line , otherwise sender might not work correctly

I had to find a larger sheet metal screw for the clips. The original screws wanted to strip when reinstalling.
